The piece at left contains roughly 100 translations of the phrase "May peace prevail on earth." It is done in blue ink. Black ink also is available. This one is on 90 pound, acid free vellum. The text is 5 inches wide. It is 14 inches wide and 41 inches long (at right is a detail).
The one shown can be hung as it is or can be framed.
One thought about where to put this one would to be put it on a door. If it were to be hung on an office door, I could write the door number and the occupants name in between translations, as in the photo below right.
It's cost is $200 plus $20 for shipping.
Smaller, larger or differently shaped versions are available.
If you have a certain size in mind, a certain space on a wall where
something like this might be nice, let me know the dimensions and let me think
about how to lay out the translations appropriately for a piece of that size.
The paper can be as wide as 30 inches. I'm not sure there is a limit on how long
it can be. I suppose hundreds of feet is possible. Which would mean it
could be possible to make a continuous wallpaper border circling a room just
below the ceiling, perhaps 4 inches high and 48 feet long for a room 12 by 12. I
can show you a rough mock up to see what you think of whatever might fit
whatever space you might want to fill.
The sample at right was done on a scrap of cheaper
paper, just as an example, so its color is different.
