Page one of a pictorial description of
An International Peace Festival at
Hope Springs Institute in Peebles, Ohio

Attendees spent four days eating meals in a dining tent ringed with international flags.

Next to it stood a veiled peace pole.

The veil had Velcro seams to allow it to be pulled open and revealed at the right moment.

On the last day of the Festival attendees were led by a violinist from the second to last meeting of the week.

They were gathered into a circle around the peace pole
for the dedication ceremony for the peace pole.
