Japanese
The founder of the peace pole movement was Japanese. In his own hand he wrote the Japanese translation. I have had the translation scrutinized by native Japanese speakers and have been told that it was not written the way most Japanese people would write it. The first half of the translation is calligraphic and the second half is not. We do not know why he wrote it that way, but it is in the founder's own hand, so that is what we reproduce on peace poles.
